Suggested March 2024 Ozark Season 4 Offers A Strong Finish To One Of Netflix’S Best Titles

A dark cloud hangs over the latest season of Netflix‘s Ozark. Part one of Ozark season four, which premiered in January, launched right into the action, taking up where season three left off after a brief and grim flash forward to what was to come in the final season, split into two parts, the second of which launched in April.

One of the pleasures of Ozark is watching the stakes rise from season to season. The story of a white-collar criminal moving his family to the Ozarks to start fresh when he angers the wrong people has grown and shifted over the years. Left with a huge amount of debt to his former employer, accountant Marty Byrde begins money laundering in his new home to make good. The Byrdes all eventually get more actively involved in the family business, making tons of money and some enemies along the way, all while acclimating to their new home.

The final season manages to keep the pressure on, with a palpable sense that things are coming to a head right up until a strong finale.

Netflix is still the leading premium streaming service, with over 200 million worldwide subscribers. It offers thousands of movies and TV shows to binge watch, including its always growing list of original films and series, including Stranger Things, The Witcher, Bridgerton, and many more.

What is Ozark season 4 about?

Check out: Shows like Ozark

In Mexico, the couple cleans blood off of their clothing at a party hosted by drug cartel boss Omar Navarro. With their former business partner and middle man Helen now dead, they’re still in the game, barely holding on for dear life.

The Byrdes are getting in deep

The stakes are the highest they’ve ever been in Ozark season four. The Byrdes are working directly with Navarro now. One false move and he could have them killed with a single phone call.

Ruth holds strong as MVP

Julia Garner has already won two Emmys for her performance as Ruth Langmore in Ozark. She’s become something of a fan favorite on the show. She deserves every bit of praise and every award for her work. Garner turns in an incredible performance.

Julia Garner is on fire as Ruth Langmore.

Ruth is also just a terrific character. While she clashes with the Byrdes, we can’t help but root for her. You’ll want to follow her every move with rapt attention. Her seething anger is understandable. She’s lost more than most in this show. Garner manages to imbue the character with a world-weariness and rage that still endears her to us. Ozark season four is no exception. Garner is on fire, and Ruth is a must-watch character.

Verdict: Ozark season 4 review

The slow build-up and eventual climax of season four is hard to look away from, leaving a massive hole at Netflix as the show wraps up. Nothing is off the table, it seems, and that makes it riveting to follow.

As tension builds, there’s a clear sense that the Byrdes are about to face some major challenges. They’re in too deep to walk away without a fight. And Ruth is on a seemingly unwinnable warpath that could upend everything.

Fans of Ozark have a lot to look forward to in season 4.

Fans of Ozark can rest assured that the show is as good as ever in season four, cementing it as one of the best shows in Netflix’s long history of original programming. Part one offered real hope, and now, the show’s creators have definitively stuck the landing. Looking for more solid Netflix drama? You might enjoy shows like The Lincoln Lawyer, which aren’t quite as gripping as Ozark but might get you your fix anyway.

The 4 Components Of A Diy Professional

Education has always been a reflection of broader cultural values. As such, the roles of teachers and students have evolved as our models of education have moved from one iteration to another. Teachers who once traveled to town to instruct a heterogeneous room full of passive learners on matters of rote memorization have come to adopt new roles and philosophies toward learning. As these new models have emerged, educators have been required to hone their skills and adapt to ever changing sets of priorities, needs and expectations.

Where such trainings were once the sole responsibility of state and district organizations, many teachers are now seeing the value of venturing out to amalgamate their own professional learning experiences. While no two paths are the same, there are four components of effective do-it-yourself (DIY) professional development that all educational professionals should consider.

Twitter is a microblogging platform that allows users to publish posts of 140 characters or less in length. Educators the world over have adopted this social network as an always-open staff lounge where ideas, best practices and resources are shared with one another in the context of a professional learning network. In Why Teachers Should Try Twitter, William Ferriter shares his reason for taking his professional development to the network:

Though these may be Ferriter’s own words, the attitude expressed in them about leveraging Twitter for differentiated professional development is shared by many who have Tweeted and been Tweeted back at.

In addition to Twitter, educators are making blogs an integral part of their DIY professional development. While many enjoy reading what others have written, writing your own reflective blog posts is a highly effective technique to improving your instructional practices. In their Teacher Evaluation Model, the Marzano Research Institute identifies reflecting on teaching as “a vital meta-cognitive step in teacher development.” What you post at first doesn’t really matter. The practice of consciously reflecting on your classroom practices and documenting what you are learning does matter. There are a number of platforms that teachers are choosing to host their professional blogs, Edublogs, Weebly, Blogger and WordPress being the most popular among them.

Edcamps are cropping up across the country. Depending on where you live, you might have already attended one yourself. If not, it is quite likely that you have at least heard about the edcamp movement. Edcamps are a type of teacher-organized unconference that allows educators to get together, often for only a day, to engage in discussion-based professional learning. What makes edcamps really unique is that there are no planned sessions at the beginning of the event. Attendees gather in the morning to suggest topics and offer to facilitate sessions, which are then displayed on a large schedule board for others to view and attend. Tom Whitby writes in What Makes Edcamp Popular with Teachers that “Edcamp’s success is based on trust and respect, as well as a personal drive for professional development.” While these often take place on a Saturday, those who attend are there not because they need professional development credits, but because they want to learn.

Google+ is quickly finding itself the host of burgeoning community of educators as well. As on Twitter, users are sharing content and ideas with one another in a professional learning network. Additionally, they are utilizing Google’s social networking platform to Hangout. A Google Hangout is a video conference with the potential to broadcast up to ten people at a time. For innovative educators, this technology has opened up a number of opportunities to connect and grow together. Whether participating in a distance-based book study, hosting a weekly educational podcast, or simply logging on to talk informally with a few friends about what’s going on in your classrooms and schools, Google Hangouts is providing teachers with a way to connect instantly with other do-it-yourselfers. This past January, Google Hangouts even served as the platform for the first entirely online Edcamp, Edcamp Home, which allowed ambitious educators from all around the world to experience the unconference from the comfort of their couches.

At the heart of any approach to professional development is an attitude about how, when and where we learn best. In today’s educational ecosystem, the answers to these questions can largely be found online. While Twitter, blogs, edcamps and Hangouts aren’t all that should be included in a comprehensive professional development plan, the learning experiences and opportunities enabled by utilizing them far outweigh the takeaways from a district in-service training. This might be due to the nature of the teacher-generated interactions, the opportunity for knowledge construction, or even the access to educational experts and thought leaders. Regardless, the emergence of DIY professional development isn’t a fad or a passing trend. It’s a reflection of our culture, one that will see more innovation in education during the next ten years than it has seen in the past hundred.

How To Ensure You Have A Very Merry Adwords Xmas Season

Service based businesses – As the majority of the population become increasingly busy worrying about holiday plans, gift buying, end of year deadlines for work etc. etc., a lot of service based businesses seem to take a big hit in both traffic & lead volume. Xmas is a time where people are so busy focusing on Xmas & holiday preparations that everything else is planned for after December.

…. If you run or work for a company that falls into one of the above categories, you’re more than likely well aware of the above user trends during Xmas, but you’re probably asking yourself how you can use this information to ensure your AdWords performance is maximised throughout the holidays. Below are 5 commonly asked questions relating to Xmas AdWords activity answered with the help of the above information.

1) What are most important changes I should make to my AdWords campaign during Xmas?

This is really going to depend on the kind of product and/or service you’re offering. If you’re a retailer, it’s going to be important to ensure that you’ve got your campaign budget caps set to an amount that you’re comfortable with spending, as you may suddenly notice a huge increase in search volume approaching Xmas. You’ll probably also need to increase bids across your high converting keywords to ensure that your positions don’t slip – your competitors will probably become a lot more aggressive in their bidding during this period to make the most of high converting Xmas traffic so increasing bids may be necessary to keep your ad positions stable. If you’re a service based business, conversion rates are what you need to keep an eye on during Xmas. You may find that people are doing a lot more research with their time off work but not really interested in taking action when it comes to certain services.

2) My Ads have suddenly dropped off the first page in December. What might have caused this?

3) My conversion rate has decreased significantly approaching Xmas. How can I determine the cause?

If you’re a retail business, a decrease in conversion rate could be seen as a result of a variety of things – New competitors could have entered the market with strong offers, your competitors’ Xmas offers may be stronger than yours meaning users are buying elsewhere, or maybe your delivery time is too longer and/or not properly outlined in your site copy.

If you’re a service based business, it may just be that your target audience are too wrapped up (excuse the pun) in Xmas & holiday planning to bother contacting you until the New Year. If you think this may be the cause of your conversion rate drop, consider reducing your AdWords spend during Xmas or even temporarily reducing your keyword bids (or both!).

4) Should I bother with special Christmas offers?

YES! Xmas is a great time to use special offers as an incentive for people to do business with your company. For most industries it’s the time where your competitors will be at their most aggressive in marketing, so you need to do everything you can to counter this and ensure that your share of the market share pie is as big as possible. Whether it is a discounted price, faster shipping, or a small gift with each purchase – as long as you have some kind of offer you should see better conversion rates than what you’d see with no unique offer.

5)  I’m a service based business and typically business is slow throughout December – should I even bother running AdWords at this time of year?

6) I’m an online retailer – should I increase my marketing spend during Xmas to make the most of the increased search volume?

Absolutely – but do so carefully. Ideally you have a full year’s worth of conversion data behind your campaign that tells you exactly which keywords within your account work well for your business. These are the keywords that you should be focussed on spending more money on. My recommendation would be to create a new campaign within your AdWords account that contains only your high converting keywords. This way you can set a high daily budget cap that is specific to the high converting terms only. This way you’ll ensure that the extra marketing money is being spent in the right areas and thus conversion rates should increase too.

Merry Xmas and have a safe holiday.

Summer Instagram Captions To Try This Season

The sun is out, the weather is warm, and vacation days are here—it’s time for new Instagram captions.

As more people opt to spend time outside and away from their phones, attention-grabbing social copy is more important than ever. On Instagram, that means appealing to what’s relevant to your audience and following the latest trends.

Whether you’re looking for something humorous or heartfelt, we’ve got you covered.

Summer Instagram caption dos and don’ts

Before we dive into summer-specific captions, let’s walk through some do’s and don’ts for your Instagram.

Do use hashtags

Because Instagram users can follow hashtags like they do people, hashtags help people find your Instagram content and see them in search results. Use hashtags to reach a larger audience and increase your engagement with new followers.

Professional copywriter Dylan Miller says, “Think of hashtags more like communities than attraction channels. If someone is searching a particular hashtag or it is showing up a lot on their feed, then it probably has some meaning to them. So tap into that meaning and use that hashtag as if you were chiming into a Discord or Slack channel.”

Do describe what’s happening in the post

Whether you post a photo, carousel, or video, use the caption to describe what’s happening and why you’re sharing it. Even if you opt for something witty and playful, ensure your Instagram caption is relevant to your post.

For longer captions, Dylan suggests having a great heading and intro line above the fold in case users don’t tap “Read more.”

Do stay positive Do use emojis

Emojis inject humor into your caption and set your caption apart from other text-only blurbs. But don’t overdo it—too many emojis can appear spammy.

Do focus on your audience

Focus your Instagram caption on how your audiences can benefit from your post rather than what you’ve done to create it. Instead of “Buy our products!” try “Here’s a photo of our favorite products at the beach. What are your summer go-to’s?”

Take a look at this example post by Sephora talking about makeup essentials for summer travels. They end their caption by asking their readers, “What destination are you packing these for? ⛱️” to incite engagement and make their followers feel involved.

The more you know about your followers and their interests, the better able you’ll be to craft captions that resonate with them.

Copywriter and thought leadership strategist Lindsey Tague agrees: “Find emotional appeal in what you are sharing, and always ask yourself what the audience wants and why this matters to them when deciding what to share.”

Don’t be too ‘salesy’

Ideally, your Instagram can help your business make money; it’s only natural to desire that. However, if you’re properly focused on your audience, you’ll understand that ‘salesy’ content is the last thing your followers will want to see.

Instead, offer interesting, exciting, and useful content, some of which feature your products. Focus on building trust and adding value—not making sales. Over time, this approach will (ironically) be more effective in converting customers than ‘salesy’ content could ever be.

Don’t use hashtags excessively

While hashtags have immense value, Instagram’s creator account warns against using too many hashtags and suggests sticking to three to five hashtags per post.

Lindsey also encourages, “You want to choose common hashtags that your target audience might be following. Do some research, and don’t use ones with hundreds of thousands of tags.”

Don’t be impersonal

Your Instagram captions should be personal and authentic. Don’t use stock copy or “copy and paste” captions from other accounts. Your followers want to hear from you!

Consider your social media marketing like a water cooler—initiate conversations, share stories, and post thought-provoking ideas.

How To Change Viewing Restrictions On Netflix

Are you worried about not having privacy on Netflix? Or are you scared your kids will get access to some mature content on it? You don’t need to worry about all these with the parental control feature.

Netflix has varieties of shows for every age group according to their taste and preference. The parental control feature helps set the viewing restrictions, allowing you to select the shows according to your preferred age group. It allows you to log in to multiple profiles from a single account so that you can supervise your children’s viewing activity.

So, without further ado, let’s get right into the article to learn how to set viewing restrictions on Netflix.

How to Change Viewing Restrictions on Netflix

There are several ways to restrict adult content on Netflix. However, with the help of parental control, we can restrict some adult content, movies, or shows. Furthermore, Netflix has a dedicated option to change viewing restrictions. Here are the steps you need to follow:

Note: To change the viewing restriction on Netflix, we need to ensure that we are logging in from a web browser and not from the app itself.

How to Set Parental Controls on Netflix?

Parental control is a feature that helps protect your kids from accessing inappropriate content floating on Netflix. It is one of the most effective ways to set the viewing restriction. Moreover, there are several ways to set parental controls on Netflix. All methods mentioned here are simple and won’t take much of your time. Let’s learn more about them in detail.

Setting Up PIN for Individual User

Having multiple profiles logged in to one account can question the safety and privacy of each user. It can also lead to kids logging in to the elder’s account, providing them access to different age-inappropriate and adult content.

So, to prevent this from happening, we can also set passwords for different individual accounts. These simple steps can help you set your password:

For the child’s safety, you can also add a pin for creating a new account which will let no kid create their account.

Set Up Kids Experience Profile

Netflix has introduced the built-in feature “Kids Experience Profile” which includes all the kids-friendly shows and programs. Netflix Kids has a distinct variation of shows that are suitable and appropriate for kids of different age groups.

This profile is educative and informative and helps in children’s mental growth as it includes shows with factual things and children’s favorite colorful stories. It allows the parents to not worry about the content their child is watching and can rely on them while surfing the browser alone.

Here’s how you can set it up:

Monitor Watch History

The parental control feature lets you access your child’s watch history from where you can supervise what your kids are watching. You need to follow these simple steps to monitor the watch history.

Limiting the Screen-time

Children can binge-watch Netflix for several hours until they are forced to stop watching. So, an easier way to limit your child’s screen time is by turning off the auto-play.
