4] Run Memory Check

Another thing you can do to resolve the “Application is not responding” error is to run a memory check. If the issue does persist after the clean boot troubleshooting, it indicates that a third-party process is the root of the problem, and you may need to run a troubleshooter on your computer. Furthermore, troubleshooting in a clean boot state involves a number of steps, all of which entail restarting your computer. In essence, the activities consist of turning off a few services and checking to see if the problem persists. This is only being done to identify and fix the glitch’s underlying cause.

6] Run System Maintenance troubleshooter

After trying other solutions, the issue is still happening; you can also try running the System Maintenance troubleshooter. To do that, follow these steps;

Press Windows + I to open Windows settings.

Afterward, restart your computer and check if the issue has been resolved.

Chatgpt Code Interpreter: What Is It And What Can You Do With It

A few days ago, OpenAI tweeted that they would be rolling out the Code Interpreter feature to all ChatGPT Plus users. Now, two days later – it looks like the rollout has already started, as I am able to enable and use the feature now. In this article, I’m going to address what is the Code Interpreter, how to enable it, and also list examples of how you can use it yourself.

So, let’s start from the top.

It looks like someone has submitted this to Sidebar (thanks!), I highly recommend that you also open this article from swyx – Code Interpreter == GPT 4.5 – which has a really nice intro and a lot of technical outgoing links. That is if you’re looking for a more technical overview.

What is the Code Interpreter?

In simple terms, the Code Interpreter can take code that you provide and perform (execute) actions with it; it can also analyze files that you upload and provide feedback on them.

Now, because the GPT-4 model in ChatGPT is limited to 25 messages every 3 hours, I haven’t been able to fully delve into the possibilities of this features, but I’m sure over the coming weeks everyone will get a better understanding of how it works and how to use it.

Nonetheless, so far I have been able to do the following:

Upload a screenshot and have Code Interpreter explain what information the image has. For example, you can ask it to summarize the text on an image (see the conversation here). This means that you can also upload an image of a website and ask about the overall design structure, the color scheme the site is using, and things of this nature.

You can upload your access.log file and ask the Code Interpreter to create various summaries, such as how many visitors your site has had, which are the most common referrers, or which are the most common web browsers that people use to access your website. You can do this practically for any kind of a data set.

You can also do things like generate charts, for example – here is a chart I generated with Code Interpreter that shows the most common URL paths that people were using from the dataset I provided.

You can also do things like provide raw data and then convert it into chart format. In the example below, I took the data from my chúng tôi frameworks article and asked the Code Interpreter to create a chart for it.

This is super convenient and an easy way to add more visuals to your own content. You can get it to convert practically any kind of data into visual format.

You can also specify which specific library you would like to use (this is limited to Python for now, and you can check the most popular Python libraries for data science in my article here).

I’m not sure what exactly is the file upload limit for Code Interpreter, but I personally was able to upload a 100MB file (my chúng tôi file), and it worked just fine.

How to enable the Code Interpreter in ChatGPT

Make sure it is enabled, and then you can go back to the GPT-4 model and select Code Interpreter from the dropdown menu. To upload files, there’s an arrow on the left-hand side of the input box where you put all your instructions.

Code Interpreter Examples

Below is a list of examples from Twitter users, both those that have gotten access just now and those that have already been using Code Interpreter as Alpha users. I’ll try to keep this updated as much as I can, because now that more people will have access to it – there are for sure going to be a lot more use cases that ChatGPT users will discover with this specific feature.

Create music market segments Bitcoin’s historical price Take old scratch STATA files & code and replicate them using Python Doing large-scale analysis Create heatmap charts Natural language querying to reduce stakeholder requests Visualizing the deductible gift recipients listing in Australia Turn images into video

I’ll be keeping an eye out for more examples and use cases, also those from my own findings. If you found an interesting use case – tweet me @stackdiary, and I will include it here.
