You may be having a problem where your iPhone seems to ring too softly even though you have checked and turned up the volume. There are several settings on your iPhone that can affect the ring volume. In this article, we will take a look at those settings to help you find the problem and get your iPhone ringing as loudly as you would like it to.
The basic volume controls The Ring/Silent switchIf your iPhone is in Silent mode, it won’t ring. The Ring/Silent switch is located on the side of your iPhone, above the volume buttons. If the switch is pushed away from the screen, you will see orange on the switch, and the phone is in Silent mode. If this is the case, flip the switch toward your iPhone screen.
Volume buttons and Control Center volume controlsYou can turn up your iPhone’s volume using either the physical buttons on the side of your phone or the volume slider in the Control Center. To open Control Center, swipe down from the upper-right corner of your iPhone screen. These controls may or may not increase your ringtone volume, depending on your settings (see the next section).

Check each of your Focus modes.
Attention AwareYour iPhone has a feature called Attention Aware that detects whether or not you are looking at your device. This works on all Face ID iPhones, even when Face ID has not been set up on the phone. Attention Aware makes sure the display doesn’t dim while you are looking at it. It also lowers the volume of some alerts if you are looking at your phone. If you don’t want your phone to automatically fade the ringer volume while you are looking at the phone:
Open Settings.
Tap on Face ID & Passcode. Enter your passcode if prompted.
Scroll down to find Attention Aware Features and toggle it off.

Volume Or Sound Icon Missing In Windows 10: How To Fix
By default, you should find a volume icon and a bunch of other system icons in the notification area (i.e. bottom-right corner of the taskbar) of every Windows 10 computer. The volume icon lets you easily adjust your computer’s output volume, troubleshoot sound problems, and even manage external audio devices.
If the volume or sound icon is missing or you can’t find it on the taskbar anymore, refer to the troubleshooting solutions we’ve listed below.

These solutions are not just specific to the volume icon. You can also use them to restore other system icons missing from your PC’s taskbar.
1. Check the Taskbar ConfigurationFirst things first—you need to make sure your computer’s taskbar is configured to accommodate the volume icon. Follow the steps below to (re)add the volume icon to the taskbar.
3. Make sure Volume is toggled on.
If Volume is enabled but the icon is still nowhere to be found on the taskbar, turn it off and back on. That could help restore the missing volume icon in Windows. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
5. Toggle on Volume on this page. If already enabled, turn it off and back on.
A faster alternative is manually unhiding the volume icon. Tap the arrow-up icon on the taskbar and drag the volume icon to the notification area.

How To Track A Lost Or Stolen Iphone Or Ipad With Find My Iphone
This tutorial will show you how you can track your lost or stolen iPhone or iPad using Apple’s Find My service, play an alarm-like sound on it, see how far the lost device is, and get directions to it to hopefully recover your missing device.
In a previous post, we had a look at the first step in securing your iPhone or iPad by enabling Find My iPhone, a feature that lets you track, lock, and even remotely wipe the device in case it has been lost or stolen. Now that you have the feature turned on, we’re going to show you how to use Find My to track an iPhone or iPad that has been lost, stolen, or misplaced.
Tracking an iOS device with Find My iPhone requires that you either have the Find My app installed on another device (it could be your iPad, another iPhone, Mac, or someone else’s iPhone or iPad) or that you use Find My directly from chúng tôi Both methods work equally well, and the steps to track a device are pretty much identical regardless of what you use.

Once you tap the Directions button, it will open Apple Maps and give you driving directions to the device. Tap GO to start the navigation.
Note that if you believe your device was stolen (not just lost), we highly recommend putting it in Lost Mode.

How to take QuickTake video and burst photos with volume buttonsQuickTake is a feature of the Camera app that makes it easy to capture video while taking photos without switching modes. As mentioned earlier, iOS 13 limits QuickTake functionality to the 2023 iPhone SE and iPhone 11 family. iOS 14, however, lets you use QuickTake on the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR models, too. Now when you’re in Photo mode, you can take a cascade of photos in rapid succession by pressing and holding the volume up button on an iPhone XS/XR or newer. QuickTake now only works by pressing and holding the volume down button.
Again, if you’re on iOS 13 or have an iPhone, you won’t see this setting. Similarly, folks who rock iPhones older than the iPhone XS/XR, such as an iPhone X or iPhone 8, you won’t see this option either. In that case, pressing and holding either volume button will start shooting a burst of photos just like before.

You cannot take videos with customizable resolution, stereo audio and audio zoom while using the QuickTake feature. For that, you’ll need to switch to Video mode in the Camera app.
QuickTakes without hardware buttonsLike iOS 13, iOS 14 still lets you use the QuickTake feature without any hardware buttons.
Simply swipe to Video mode in Camera, then press and hold the shutter button to start shooting a QuickTake video. Let go to stop recording. To record a longer QuickTake video without holding the button all the time, slide the shutter button to the right to lock recording.
With your QuickTake video recording session locked, you can even take a still photo by hitting that white shutter button that appears to the right. To stop recording, tap the red record button. And now, for my last tip: slide the shutter button to the left and hold it to take a burst of photos.

3. Check Your HardwareSometimes the problem is that you’ve simply hooked something up incorrectly. Make sure that you haven’t, for example, plugged your speakers into an input instead of an output. If you’re using a Bluetooth audio device, try resetting it to factory defaults and pairing it with your Mac again.
Here are some general things to check:
Make sure that your Mac speakers or headphones are properly plugged in.
